New Website: Different Starting Points, One Shared Goal
From Long COVID recovery to resilience and performance, the same brain-body principles help people build capacity, restore function, and thrive.
If you've visited our website recently, you may have noticed a change. ThriveNinety has been updated to better reflect how our work has evolved and the people we serve today.
What hasn't changed is our mission. We remain rooted in practical, research-informed tools that help build brain-body capacity. Whether someone is recovering from illness, strengthening resilience, or seeking to perform at a higher level, the same foundational principles support how we move, think, recover, adapt, and thrive.
Our work began with a clear need. People living with Long COVID and other post-infection conditions were often left trying to navigate complex symptoms without a practical roadmap. Through lived experience, healthcare expertise, and evidence-informed practice, we developed and refined an approach that helps people work with their brain-body systems rather than simply chasing symptoms.
Over time, we saw that the same principles supporting recovery are equally relevant to resilience and performance. Long COVID brought greater awareness to the importance of nervous system regulation, movement quality, pacing, nutrition, recovery, and brain-body connection. These are not simply recovery tools. They are also the foundations that help people build capacity, manage stress, sustain energy, and perform consistently in daily life.
As a result, we are increasingly supporting a broader community alongside our Long COVID work. Some people come to us while recovering from illness, surgery, or ongoing symptoms. Others are preparing for life's challenges, rebuilding after a difficult period, or looking to improve their health, resilience, and performance. We also work with athletes, active adults, leaders, and professionals who want to improve consistency, recovery, adaptability, and long-term capacity.
While the starting points may differ, the goal is often the same: creating the brain-body capacity that allows us to show up well, recover effectively, adapt to challenges, and perform sustainably.
At ThriveNinety, we bring together experience in healthcare, population health, lived experience, elite sport, and practical coaching. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms or isolated performance goals, we focus on the underlying systems that influence energy, function, stress response, recovery, movement quality, and adaptability.
Our PEDAL™ framework provides a practical structure for that work:
-
Pacing
-
Exercise
-
Diet
-
Alignment of the nervous system
-
Loosen
These are not rigid steps or a one-size-fits-all solution. They are adaptable entry points that help people reduce unnecessary strain, rebuild capacity, and support their brain and body in ways that fit real life.
On our new website, you'll find different starting points, but one shared goal: helping people recover, adapt, and thrive.
-
Recovery - for those rebuilding after Long COVID, post-infection conditions, surgery, illness, chronic symptoms, or periods of reduced capacity.
-
Resilience - for those looking to strengthen their foundations, navigate life's demands with greater steadiness, and maintain the capacity to keep doing what matters most.
-
Performance - for athletes, active adults, leaders, and professionals who want to improve consistency, recovery, precision, and sustainable performance.
-
Organizations - for teams and workplaces that want to build healthier, more resilient cultures that help people navigate challenge and change effectively.
You don't need to fit neatly into just one category. Someone may begin with recovery and later focus on resilience or performance. Equally, a person pursuing higher performance may discover that improved recovery and nervous system regulation are the very things that unlock their next level of success.
That is the heart of ThriveNinety: practical, research-informed tools that help people restore function, build resilience, and perform with greater consistency by supporting the systems that make those outcomes possible.
If you know someone who may benefit from this work, whether they are recovering, looking to build resilience, or striving to perform at their best, please share our website or encourage them to get in touch. We'd be happy to help them find the right starting point.
Warmly,
Andrea & Katie
P.S. If you're not sure where you fit, that's okay. Recovery, resilience, and performance often overlap. Our role is simply to help you identify the next practical step and meet you where you are today.
