Katie’s COVID Anniversary
Do you remember the first day you realized you had COVID? (written 03/17/2024)
It’s St. Patrick’s Day, which was a holiday Katie always looked forward to. Since 2020 it has been hard to think about it the same way. March 17th 2020 was the day she came home from work with a runny nose and felt like she was getting sick. It was the day she experienced COVID symptoms for the first time - and it was the start of her experience with Long Covid. While many people recovered from this infection, at least 10% of people have not, and have developed Long COVID, just like Katie.
In our latest blog post, she shares the story of that day and the early stages of her Long COVID journey and reflects on the improvement she has experienced.
We would love to hear your story.
Yesterday, we had a great webinar sharing background on Long COVID and information about how you can manage symptoms and feel more like yourself again. This week, on Thursday, March 21st, 2024, at 7pm EST, we host our second webinar on this topic.
If you did not have the chance to join yesterday, check out our website for more details about what will be covered on Thursday. It would be great to see you there. To join, please register for this free event on our webinar page
Warmly,
Katie & Andrea
PS. Just to recap what we covered in the webinar:
-
Why COVID and Long COVID impacts your body the way it does.
-
What can be done to help your body manage issues caused by a COVID infection and Long COVID.
-
How to use this knowledge - including how to turn it into simple and practical actions, movements, and tools that you can use to manage symptoms and feel better.
