Understanding the Drivers of Long COVID
The NIH has committed significant support to advancing research to help people impacted by Long COVID. (written 10/20/2024)
Long COVID is still impacting millions worldwide, with symptoms that can last for months or even years after the initial infection. The NIH has committed significant support to advancing research to help people impacted by Long COVID.
At ThriveNinety, we recognize the importance of understanding this complex condition to help people get back to their lives. We embrace research while also looking for practical solutions that can provide symptom relief now. This week’s blog post, What We Know and Don't Know About the Drivers of Long COVID, outlines research findings showing what might be driving Long COVID. We then touch on how our programs target these underlying mechanisms.
Moving Forward
More research is needed to understand the mechanism of Long COVID in detail, and how different people may be impacted differently. In time, NIH funding, further research, and pharmaceutical developments will help develop insights and solutions. However, there are steps that people can take now that are helping reduce symptoms.
At ThriveNinety, we’re committed to helping people manage Long COVID symptoms with practical, evidence-based approaches. While pharmaceutical solutions may take years to develop, our focus is on symptom relief today. We work with your body’s responses to COVID and other infections, supporting your nervous system, immune system, and energy production to help you reduce symptoms and gain ability.
Stay strong, stay hopeful, and remember that recovery is possible.
Warmly,
Katie & Andrea
