Start as you mean to go on - the power of simple and enduring tools
Start as you mean to go on - forming Long COVID Symptom management habits that stick and continue to have impact. (written 04/07/2024)
We know that learning new habits and techniques can take time and energy. Long COVID symptoms often mean that energy needs to be used sparingly. In our latest blog, Start As You Mean to Go On, Katie reflects on her professional background working with behavioral economics as well as her time as a ski instructor while in college - and how both provide inspiration for our simple and impactful approach to Long COVID Symptom management that supports different ability levels. This means the same set of simple tools can be used regularly (in only 10 mins a day) to support you to feel better today, and also to support continued improvement over time.
The approach offers gentle movements and actions that support people with Long COVID symptoms, as well as high-performance athletes, to improve brain-body connections, reduce inflammation, and feel better. We have designed it so that you don’t need to develop new habits over time. Your investment in symptom management will support you to feel better now and into the future.
We look forward to starting our cohort of the expanded online 12-week program tomorrow and to working with those in the program. If you have been impacted by Long COVID and are still looking for solutions, there is still time to register. You can find out more about our approach and the power small actions have had for others here.
Warmly,
Katie & Andrea
